at the tip of Brittany (and France)
For you who will arrive on the Albert Louppe Bridge crossing the Elorn River, and will contemplate the see, the city, the harbours, you might think that you have reached "the end of the world" (finis terrae). Nevertheless, here, we dare to say that "everything starts in Finistère".
And that is true. Here begins this Atlantic Ocean that so many men have braved for centuries to carry out their activities. From here left many explorations to discover new worlds. But here will also start your journey back!
As in 2015, you will be welcomed in the high schools Vauban and Kerichen-La Pérouse (La Pérouse who led an expedition which left Brest in 1785 to discover the Pacific Ocean).
The Groupe Cyclotouriste Brestois and the neighbouring cyclotourist clubs will do everything they can so that this stopover can be as resting as possible and that you can take the road back in full shape.
Above all, we hope that this short halt in our area will encourage you to come back to discover our numerous scenic landscapes and our rich historical heritage.
