From August 18 to 22, 2019, Villaines-la-Juhel welcomes riders from around the world to the next Paris-Brest-Paris as it has done since 1979. Many thanks Audax Club Parisien for the confidence that it shows us by associating us again to the most international of the long-distance bike rides. Our various institutional partners, the town of Villaines-la-Juhel, the community of municipalities of Mont des Avaloirs as well as the departmental council of Mayenne once again are proud to be part of this prestigious event.
The gateway town to the Parc Rgional Normandie Maine, Villaines-la-Juhel, is located north-east of the department of Mayenne. Our control site remains unchanged from previous editions. Weve made some improvements since 2015, including sleeping facilities, wifi, catering and parking spaces. There will be hot meals, dormitories, showers, bike repairs, and not forgetting our interpreters who once again will be helping us to look after you better.
Over 350 volunteers will be on hand to provide assistance and support. Working together, the medical center, Saint Nicolas school and local associations, local cycling clubs look forward to providing riders with everything they need to set off again on their adventure, refreshed and revived. All along the route, night and day, the Mayennais are out in force to show their support for the fantastic challenge of 1200 kilometers, so well defined by this aphorism of Mark Twain: They did not know it was impossible, so they did it!
Our volunteers, the Villaines-la-Juhel Cyclo Club, the Mayenne Cyclotourism Committee, the town of Villaines-la-Juhel, the department of Mayenne welcome the riders of Paris-Brest-Paris 2019.

For CC de Villaines la Juhel
Christian BULLOT

Like the President Christian Bullot, I want to share with you the joy and pride we have, this town of 3,000 people, to welcome once again the 6,000 riders of Paris-Brest-Paris and their friends and supporters.
The third week in August, almost all of the town will be ready to help you and cheer you along. My thanks go to the town, its groups and associations and always its people, who work together to create the incredible atmosphere that welcomes you, the riders of Paris-Brest-Paris. Respect!
Youll be sure to find a warm welcome from this beautiful town. As you cycle through the department of Mayenne, I hope you enjoy our green and pleasant countryside, with idyllic country lanes that twist and turn to reveal endless beautiful views.
Our preparations are underway. As always, we will be ready. We look forward to seeing you!
