Loudéac
Loudéac, welcome to the heart of Brittany

Located in the heart of Brittany, Loudéac is surrounded by beautiful countryside. On the borders of the historic provinces of Cornouaille, Vannetais and Pays de Saint-Brieuc, it has long been a strategically important town due to its transport links across the region. It is here that you will discover some of the most rugged and exposed sections of the Paris-Brest-Paris route.
Loudéac, a town for sport
With more than 200 cultural, charitable and mostly sports associations, Loudéac is a town that is passionate about sport and cycling. This passion can be seen in its numerous sports and leisure facilities, including the new Sports Palace with its futuristic architectural lines. The Comité Régional de Cyclisme recognises our commitment to sport, recently choosing to locate its new headquarters here.
Loudéac, a town with a warm welcome turned towards nature
At this historic control point, the local cycling association and its many volunteers will be providing riders catering, sleeping, showers and entertainment to leave revived.
In the city center, your friends, family and supporters can discover the town’s side streets, filled with flowers, the church with its notable organ, great restaurants and hotels. Why not combine their visit with a visit to Aquarev, an exceptional natural park, dedicated to leisure and recreation around the pond? The park has excellent three-star camping and motorhome pitches, offering accommodation closer to nature. Nearby is the Relais Saint-Guillaume, a lodging center on the edge of the forest of Loudéac with marked trails for scenic walks, mountain biking or horseback riding. There is so much to do here, you’ll surely want to return!
We hope your preparations go well and we keenly await your arrival.
